Patta and Helinox have teamed up once again for a unique collaboration that blends heritage with modern design. This special edition features the Helinox Chair One, inspired by the Pangi cloth, a culturally significant garment of the Maroon communities of Suriname. Portable, lightweight, and easy to assemble, this chair offers comfort and practicality thanks to breathable, durable, and compact materials, as well as additional carrying and storage options. The fabric used comes from a Pangi that belonged to the late father of Patta co-founder Guillaume Schmidt, adding a personal and historical touch. Once a symbol of inferiority, the Pangi, known as "Kosu" in Saamaka, has become an emblem of freedom and resilience.
