YMC was founded in 1995 by Jimmy Collins and Fraser Moss. Through its menswear, womenswear, and unisex designs, the brand has built a reputation for its distinctive creative vision.
Its name, inspired by a quote from renowned industrial designer Raymond Loewy – “You must create your own design style” – serves as both a philosophy and a call to action. Drawing from the aesthetics of traditional workwear and military uniforms, Collins and Moss set out to craft understated, functional garments designed to stand the test of time.
