Patta and Helinox join forces once again for a unique collaboration blending heritage and modern design. This special edition features the Helinox Chair One, inspired by the Pangi cloth, a culturally significant garment of the Maroon communities in Suriname. Portable, lightweight, and easy to assemble, the chair offers comfort and practicality with breathable, durable, and packable materials, along with additional carrying and storage options. The fabric used comes from a Pangi that belonged to Patta co-founder Guillaume Schmidt’s late father, adding a personal and historical touch. Once a symbol of inferiority, the Pangi—known as "Kosu" in Saamaka—has become an emblem of freedom and resilience.
