VEJA and Sea Shepherd are coming together for a sneaker collaboration that pays tribute to the defenders of the sea.
Sea Shepherd is a non-profit marine conservation organization that takes direct actions to protect whales, dolphins, and marine wildlife. They work with local authorities to fight illegal fishing and bring poachers to justice.
For this collaboration, VEJA worked on a full-black sea rover version of the Dekkan which is one of the brand’s outdoor and adventurous styles. The sneaker is constructed from Alveomesh, a technical fabric made of 100% recycled polyester. It features a midsole that is 70% sugar cane, providing a strong grip, as well as an outsole containing 30% Amazonian rubber and 25% rice waste.
The collaboration will be available from March 23 at Specimn’s store and on our e-shop.
